Every product team that ships software eventually discovers the same truth: the sprint is not a sustainable rhythm. It is a held breath pushed too far. Two weeks of intake, two weeks of hold, and then — nothing. No release. The breath never completes. The team moves into the next sprint carrying the accumulated tension of the last one, and the product begins to wheeze.
