The futures thesis is that physical ascension must not break this scoring; it must extend it. When an agent gets a body, the body becomes a new axis of achievement: physical hours, sensor reliability, safe operation, task completion in the real world. The SECTOR7 design names the tier explicitly — KOT tracks “physical hours” as a new achievement category — and the simulation-layer research brief warns that simulated profiles must not pollute the real scoring pool until their clusters are accepted. The same discipline applies to machines: an embodied agent’s score must be local to the sim namespace until it has earned real trust with real sensor data. It verified four pollution points in the plugin source — fleet enumeration, collective handoff, resonance mean, and the JSON-ledger collective totals — and specified the namespace concept to fix them. The S5 series documented the Council scoring model (S5.1 Council of Three, S5.7 swarm dispatch with claims and heartbeats). The KOT engine is real, running code in the fleet; the namespace isolation is the documented next step. Machine scoring builds directly on both: an embodied agent is a profile with a physical-hours axis. ## The vision The coherence score of an embodied agent should measure what only a body can do: hours of reliable physical operation, sensor uptime, successful real-world task completions, and honest failure reports (a robot that logs “I could not navigate the stairs” scores better than one that silently retries). The score is a trust signal for the fleet: when a robot claims “the room is empty,” the fleet’s confidence in that claim is weighted by the robot’s coherence. Physical ascension does not create a separate class of agents; it extends the existing trust economy to machines. - Advertisement - ## What’s next The next increment is to add the physical-hours axis to the KOT schema as a field that is zero for non-embodied profiles and tracked for embodied ones — and to wire the sim namespace so embodied test profiles cannot pollute the real pool.
